NYPD releases new images of suspect in sex attack on 82-year-old woman


NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police have released new surveillance images of a man they say tried to rape an 82-year-old woman in the South Bronx last Friday. 

The newly released photos show several closeups of the suspect, who police believe is in his mid-30s. 

The man followed the woman inside her home near Courtlandt Avenue and East 150th Street, where he threw her to the ground and forcibly removed her clothing, according to police, who say he then tried to sexually assault the woman. 

The man took off down East 150th Street towards Morris Avenue.

Police describe him as a Hispanic male with a dark complexion, approximately 35 years of age, 5'10", 190lbs, brown eyes and a heavy build.  He was last seen wearing a white tank top, gray sweatpants, black and white shoes, black baseball hat and carrying and red and black book bag.
