This mother of two had an easier flight thanks to the kindness of a stranger.

Jessica Rudeen was flying to North Carolina with her children when her infant started crying on the flight. The man sitting next to her reached over and asked if he could help with the 4-month-old baby Alexander.

Todd Walker, a father of two, was a natural and even began coloring and chatting with her three-year-old toddler Caroline. Todd helped Jessica with her bags and the little girl insisted on holding her new friend's hand during their layover.

Todd even switched seats with another passenger on their connecting flight so he could continue to be there to help Jessica.

The thankful mom shared her experience on Facebook, writing, "My first flights with an infant and a toddler started out with a little panic when we boarded the plane. My 4-month-old was screaming his head off because, due to a series of unexpected events, I was unable to nurse him before boarding the plane.

"This guy, Todd, showed me kindness and compassion that I've never known from another person. His wife, he said, had a similar experience when their two boys were young and a stranger showed her the same kindness. I am blown away by God’s hand in this because we could have been placed next to anyone, but we were seated next to one of the nicest men I have ever met in my life."

In the post, Jessica then asked for help finding her travel hero and in no time at all was put in contact with Todd's wife Stacey.
