New York (1010WINS) 1010 WINS has teamed up with Animal Care Centers of New York City to let you know about some of the adoptable #Boroughbreds looking for loving homes in the city's shelters, and, where ACC's mobile adoption units are headed with even more great pets.

Plus, there are a couple of adoption promotions taking place, including the “Summertime Sniffles”, with waived adoption fees for all under the weather cats and dogs. Adoptions include a special "Get Well Care Package" including a $30 petco gift card, toys, treats, and bedding! Interested in seeing which animals are part of this new promotion? Visit nycacc.org and use their adoption search — all eligible animals will have a special “Summertime Sniffles” overlay on their featured photo.  In addition, ACC introduces the “Celebrate Boroughbred Independence” adoption promotion, with waived adoptionfees for all adult #Boroughbreds! Promotion is from Saturday, June 30th – Tuesday, July 3rd.

This week, we're featuring Tyson, Lola and Beanz:

Tyson (31649) UPDATE:  TYSON HAS BEEN ADOPTED!  Meet Tyson, the meatball made of smiles! Tyson is a super friendly, full of love boroughbred looking for his new home.

Available for adoption at Brooklyn ACC: 2336 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn NY 11208.

Beanz (31933) UPDATE: BEANZ HAS BEEN PLACED WITH AN ACC NEW HOPE PARTNER. Meet Beanz, the beautiful boroughbred looking for a new home! Beanz loves all people, young and old, all cats, and is ready to go home TODAY!  Available at Manhattan ACC: 326 East 110th Street (between 1st and 2nd Aves.) New York, NY 10029.

Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the only open-admissions animal shelter in New York City and takes in approximately 30,000 animals every year. ACC’s  three Care Centers in Manhattan (326 East 110th Street), Brooklyn (2336 Linden Boulevard), and Staten Island (3139 Veterans Road West) are open for adoptions 12pm-8pm Monday thru Friday, and 10am-6pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Lola (24853) UPDATE: LOLA STILL AVAILABLE AS OF 7/6. A volunteer writes: Lola is a star and she knows it! She's bold, a bit of a diva, and likes to be the center of attention. Outgoing and interested in people, she beelines to the front of her kennel when she sees someone she knows to say hello (though she admittedly does not like when you rearrange her living quarters and may grunt at you if she finds you messing with her stuff). She has high energy and loves to run, frolic, play with toys and chew - she's a rabbit who needs plenty of things to stimulate her active mind and help her get her energy out, including plenty of toys to chew on! Lola also enjoys affection and will adorably mush down flat while a person pets her. Another volunteer writes: Lola is very active running fast in and out of a tunnel doing binkies. She's a little character and you'll just love her big ears. She will chill with you while you pet her head and her body. She enjoys her nose being rubbed. Available for adoption at Brooklyn ACC: 2336 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn NY 11208.
