NEW YORK (1010WINS) 1010 WINS has teamed up with Animal Care Centers of New York City to let you know about some of the adoptable #Boroughbreds looking for loving homes in the city's shelters, and, where ACC's mobile adoption units are headed with even more great pets.

This week, we're featuring Milo, Bobos and Little Mack:

Milo (55091) An ACC volunteer writes: "  Little Milo may have "resting grumpy face" in his photos, but this adorable boy is anything but a grump! Playful, sweet, and happy to bound around the yard as well as come up close for soft snuggles, Milo is a delightful young dog. About 1 year old and 45 pounds, he is a bit shy at first, though never unfriendly. He seemed grateful for a slow approach and gentle touch. Milo was a little afraid of one of the toys we brought out -- to be fair, it was a big rattly thing with funny wings! -- but he remained curious, engaged, and interested in all his surroundings. I can imagine going out for long, fun walks with Milo, helping him learn about all the sights and smells, then coming home for cuddles under a warm blanket, with some pup treats for him and hot cocoa for me. Will you be the lucky human companion to bring Milo home? You can meet him today at the Manhattan Care Center. Come and find out!” Available for adoption at Manhattan ACC: 326 E 110th Street, Manhattan.

Pretty Mack (59511) An ACC volunteer writes:  Pretty Mack is aptly named. She is a vision in her dove grey tuxedo. She loved getting a massage. She rubbed her head and body on my arm to let me know just how good-natured and pleasant she is. She is very thoughtful and quiet but once we interacted it was clear that she is especially loving and nice. Not just a pretty face. She is a win-win kitty." Available for adoption at Brooklyn ACC: 2336 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn.

Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the only open-admissions animal shelter in New York City and takes in approximately 30,000 animals every year. ACC’s  three Care Centers in Manhattan (326 East 110th Street), Brooklyn (2336 Linden Boulevard), and Staten Island (3139 Veterans Road West) are open for adoptions 12pm-8pm Monday thru Friday, and 10am-6pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Bobos (58002) An ACC Volunteer writes: “Ap-paws, Ap-paws, Ap-paws -- here comes Bobos, the fastest rabbit in the world! Bobos is a young Dutch bunny, full of energy and cute mischief. If he is not busy running at 30 miles an hour, he will happily jump into your lap for close investigation of humans, and to maybe steal a treat, some cilantro, or some cuddles. It is so much fun hanging out on the floor with Bobos, watching his antics and his happy-go-lucky energy. I just had to smile at him, and you know what? He smiled back! If you have the time and space for a bunny that just loves to free-roam and play, come meet our bunderful Bobos at the Care Center in Brooklyn!” Available for adoption at Brooklyn ACC: 2336 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn.
