NEW YORK (1010WINS) 1010 WINS has teamed up with Animal Care Centers of New York City to let you know about some of the adoptable #Boroughbreds looking for loving homes in the city's shelters, and, where ACC's mobile adoption units are headed with even more great pets.

This week, we're featuring Lola, Zena and Lady Natalia:

Lady Natalia (40436) An ACC Volunteer Writes: "Stand-up hugs, nibble-y chin kisses and tail wags galore--Lady Natalia is the most down-to-earth noble ever! She's happy to mingle with us commoners and eager to meet new people and dogs of all sizes too. After just a few days at the Care Center Lady's impeccable social manners have already been honored with the title of 'greeter dog' and a job welcoming other pups into playgroup and she scored so well on her behavior assessment that she'd be a welcome addition to almost any home. Lady's a charming senior with the sunny personality of a youngster but she's always well-mannered and walks nicely on leash, seems house trained and sits or jumps up on command for treats. She's a girl after my own heart as next to socializing, food is her favorite thing in the world! Lady Natalia is all class and she's ready to step out with a new family today, what an honor it would be to walk by her side.” Available for adoption at Brooklyn ACC: 2336 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn.

Zena (64162) An ACC Volunteer writes: "Zena combines the fun playfulness of a kitten with the easy going nature of a well-established cat. We played together and she enthusiastically pounced on and chased her toys around her condo. After playing, she happily stretched out for a nap and some pets. Zena is exciting and full of fun! Bring a pipe cleaner toy when you come to meet her and you will be guaranteed to start off on the right paw!" Available for adoption at Manhattan ACC: 326 E 110th Street, Manhattan.

Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the only open-admissions animal shelter in New York City and takes in approximately 30,000 animals every year. ACC’s  three Care Centers in Manhattan (326 East 110th Street), Brooklyn (2336 Linden Boulevard), and Staten Island (3139 Veterans Road West) are open for adoptions 12pm-8pm Monday thru Friday, and 10am-6pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Lola (64929) An ACC volunteer writes: "Her name was Lola, she was a show girl". That's the song that's been on my lips ever since little Lola came into the center. And she sure is a bun you'll definitely want to show off! She's super cute and friendly as can be. She absolutely adores munching on lettuce, but much to our surprise, according to her previous owner, is not much for carrots. If you're looking for a low-key bunny to be your fuzziest best friend, look no further than Lola. You won't be disappointed." Available for adoption at Manhattan ACC: 326 E 110th Street, Manhattan.
