New York (1010WINS) 1010 WINS has teamed up with Animal Care Centers of New York City to let you know about some of the adoptable #Boroughbreds looking for loving homes in the city's shelters, and, where ACC's mobile adoption units are headed with even more great pets.

This week, we're featuring Jay, Coldplay & Snowball:

Jay (41957) An ACC volunteer writes: “What to say about Jay? He's all dolled up in his silvery tuxedo, sporting a neat, white mustache. Jay is a very sweet cat who has lived with children and just likes people of all ages. He loves to be petted and to have sweet nothings whispered in his ears. He's available to meet whenever you are”. Available for adoption at Manhattan ACC: 326 East 110th Street, New York.

Coldplay (43311) An ACC Volunteer Writes: “You can't buy happiness, but you can adopt it! As evidence may we present Coldplay, who has volunteers wrapped around his perfect paws. He has the most giant heart, which is only one of the many extraordinary things about him, given how tiny his adorable body is.

This is a dog who has everyone swooning as he passes, and when you interact with him it's game over. He is mellow and calm--he never jumps or gets hyper--but his zoomy tail is always wagging with happiness at having people near. He takes treats like a gentleman, knows how to sit, is amazing on a leash, appears house trained , doesn't react to any dogs, fits perfectly into a lap of any size, and is all around the company several of us wished we could have for the rest of the day. And you, lucky person, may have this company for the rest of your life...happiness guaranteed!” Available for adoption at Manhattan ACC: 326 East 110th Street, New York.

Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the only open-admissions animal shelter in New York City and takes in approximately 30,000 animals every year. ACC’s  three Care Centers in Manhattan (326 East 110th Street), Brooklyn (2336 Linden Boulevard), and Staten Island (3139 Veterans Road West) are open for adoptions 12pm-8pm Monday thru Friday, and 10am-6pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Snowball (39520) Meet Snowball, your best friend that you haven’t met yet! Snowball is here to cuddle, play, lounge, and eat treats (his personal favorite activity). Available for adoption at Brooklyn ACC: 2336 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn.

You can view available animals online, and at the Care Centers, ACC Adoption Counselors will help you find the best match.
