NEW YORK (1010WINS) 1010 WINS has teamed up with Animal Care Centers of New York City to let you know about some of the adoptable #Boroughbreds looking for loving homes in the city's shelters, and, where ACC's mobile adoption units are headed with even more great pets.

This week, we're featuring Isabella, Snowflake Sahara and Trixie:

Isabella (53719) An ACC volunteer writes: ”Isabella! Oh my goodness what a happy little love muffin!! In her kennel she waits quietly and loves to take long naps, despite some of her more rambunctious roommates! On walks, her cute little tail wag wag wags and she happily explores the world around her. Now and then on her walks she sits down on her own and looks up to you -- a little uncertain at first -- but when you offer her your hand and she gives a few tentative sniffs...oh! The love session is on! Isabella shoves her beautiful head into your hand for pets and leans her cute little body up against you -- she just cannot get enough lovin!! This sweet young girl is just delicious and can't wait to find her furever home!! Come visit her at the Brooklyn ACC asap!” Available for adoption at Brooklyn ACC: 2336 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn.

Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the only open-admissions animal shelter in New York City and takes in approximately 30,000 animals every year. ACC’s three Care Centers in Manhattan (326 East 110th Street), Brooklyn (2336 Linden Boulevard), and Staten Island (3139 Veterans Road West) are open for adoptions 12pm-8pm Monday thru Friday, and 10am-6pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Snowflake Sahara (39819) A foster writes: Fair white winter princess Snowflake may seem a bit timid on the first date, but who can blame her? With those looks she has no need to settle! Should you have a glitter ball or spring in your pocket, Snowflake will put her skepticism aside and entertain you with graceful moves as she carries her toys around happily chirping, or dashes elegantly after her brother, Snowball - who she dearly adores - for a game "catch me if you can". Should you have a piece of chicken in your pocket, Snowflake will put aside her games and commit to lifetime of loyalty. Congruently, Snowflake is an agile and highly capable kitchen supervisor and loves to watch her humans cook and clean. After watching others work [it's exhausting!], Snowflake appreciates heavy host of pets - especially on her head and that special spot under her chin. While she enjoys company of resident dog and cats, there is nothing Snowflake prefers more than cuddling with her brother Snowball. Snowflake and Snowball - twin kitties - with totally different personalities, complete each other and make a perfect feline duo! Snowflake is currently in an ACC Foster home.  Email: adopt@nycacc.org if you're interested in adopting her!

If you’re interested in one of the animals featured here, email ACC’s Adoption team at adopt@nycacc.org with the animal’s name and ID number, or head directly to the Care Center where the animal is located. Please note, animals featured here may already be placed by the time you arrive, but there are hundreds of great cats, dogs, and rabbits looking for loving homes every day! You can view available animals online, and at the Care Centers, ACC Adoption Counselors will help you find the best match.

Trixie (53655) An ACC staff member writes: “I nicknamed Trixie Trick, because he knows a trick to wiggle his way into your heart - he will melt and pancake into your hands for cheek, head, and back massages. If you stop petting him, he will look at you with his large brown soulful eyes and beg for more. It is just impossible not to fall in love with this big, soft, lop-eared bunny boy who is patiently waiting for his forever person. If Trixie cannot find someone to cuddle with him, he spends his time zooming through crunchy tunnels and playing with bunny toys.He also likes a good nap during which time he dreams of fields of cilantro and a human companion with plenty of time for bunny massages. Come meet Trixie at the Care Center in Brooklyn”  Available for adoption at Brooklyn ACC: 2336 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn.

You can also meet your new best friend at ACC’s Mobile Adoption Center, which travels throughout the city. (Note: dates and locations are subject to change. Information will be updated as quickly as possible.  View an Interactive adoption event at http://nycacc.org/adoptionevents.)
