Georgetown football senior Ty Williams suffered a severe spinal cord injury during a game in September 2015 that left him unable to walk.

After two and a half years of physical therapy and determination, Ty walked for the first time during his graduation ceremony to receive his diploma.

The audience erupted in applause as the last graduate walked across the stage to earn his degree in government.

What an unforgettable moment for all involved!
