NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police in Connecticut made a grisly discovery Tuesday morning alongside a road in Greenwich: A young woman's body -- bound at the hands and feet -- in a suitcase.

The body was found about 10 to 15 feet off Glenville Road.

"The victim was found bound at the hands and the feet, and the victim was found in a suitcase," Greenwich police Captain Robert Berry said.

Police said the woman appeared to be between 18 and 30.

She has yet to be identified, nor has the cause of death been confirmed. Also, police said they do not believe the woman was killed roadside, but somewhere else.

"We have received some leads, on some, I would say, possible identifications of the victim," Berry said. "But at this time, nothing is confirmed. So I have no information to release identifying the victim. We are following up on leads."
