NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A woman riding on the back of a motorcycle was killed in a crash on Thursday morning in East Harlem.

Investigators say she was the passenger on a bike that was going the wrong way on 110th Street when the man at the wheel hit a speed bump sending both him and the 28-year-old woman flying.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 42-year-old Antanwe Johnson, was hospitalized in stable condition. He was later charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
