Woman Pummeled By Stranger Inside 14th Street F-Train Station

Police are looking for a woman who attacked an older woman inside a Manhattan F-Train station.



NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A woman was brutally attacked by a younger woman inside of a Manhattan subway station.

Just before midnight on February 22, the suspect approached the victim, knocked her down, and pummeled her face with punches, before fleeing the scene.

The 67-year-old victim suffered a fractured elbow and bruising above her left eye, police said. She was taken to Lenox Health Greenwich Village in stable condition .

The suspect has been described as a black or Hispanic woman. She was last seen wearing a yellow knit cap, a black coat with a fur lined hood, and black pants.
