Wintry mix to sweep through NYC ahead of Arctic freeze

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- New Yorkers will experience a wintry mix of rain, sleet and possibly snow Tuesday morning, followed by an Arctic freeze later in the week, according to AccuWeather.

The high for Tuesday is 41, with a low Tuesday evening of 23. 

On Wednesday morning, expect icy conditions. It will be blustery and much colder with times of clouds and sun.

On Wednesday afternoon, there'll be flurries and even a snow squall in the afternoon. High 28, but afternoon
temperatures will fall.

Thursday will be brisk and frigid with a high of (get ready for it!) 14 degrees.

Friday will be cold, but not as harsh, with a high of 23.
