NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A wheelchair-bound man was stabbed to death in his Brooklyn home.

1010 WINS' Samantha Liebman reports, his body was discovered by a friend, and a knife was found nearby.

Kevin lives upstairs from Otis James. He saw his friend's body on the floor of his ground floor apartment, the 46-year-old former MTA bus driver was stabbed multiple times.

"Whatever happened, it shouldn't even happen. He didn't do nobody nothing, he didn't deserve it. He's a peaceful man, he's a humble man," he said.

He discovered the recently wheelchair-bound James around 4:30, Tuesday afternoon. Police were still on the scene on Central Ave on Wednesday. So far there have been no arrests.

Kevin said he worries for James' two daughters.

"She's about to graduate in two months from high school to go to college. She got accepted in six different colleges. That's what's beating me more than anything because she's a kid.

James was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
