NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An Australian grandmother has become the world's oldest skydiver at 102 years old.

Irene O'Shea of Adelaide jumped out of a plane Sunday afternoon at about 136 mph.

It was O'Shea's third skydive, having first done so on her 100th birthday at 14,000 feet and then again the following year.

"I felt normal, about the same [as previous jumps]," she said.

O'Shea snagged the title of world's oldest skydiver from New Jersey's Kenneth Meyer, who is 21 days younger than her. He completed his dive this year.

O'Shea said she jumped to raise funds for research into motor neuron disease after her daughter Shelagh died at the age of 67 ten years ago.
