NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A billboard in Times Square caught fire on Saturday afternoon, videos online show.

The FDNY tells 1010 WINS that crews were responding to a call about the fire just after 3 p.m.

Citizen App video from 43rd Street and Broadway shows the fire tearing through the LED billboard as fire crews douse it with water.

No injuries have been reported and no flames were visible around 4 p.m., the FDNY said.

Fire crews are continuing to monitor the situation.

The FDNY said the building the sign is attached to was not damaged.
