Chaos on Delta flight

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Chaos broke out on a Delta flight stuck on the tarmac at JFK Airport for almost seven hours Thursday, as video shows police officers on board responding to a fight between passengers.

Witnesses tweeted about the fight, and two passengers told ABC News they were not offered food or drink for more than two hours.

In one video posted to Twitter by Glenna Milberg, officers can be heard asking, “Who are the two people who started fighting?"

The fight caused a crew member to announce the plane was not safe for passengers or crew.

The flight, headed to Miami, was supposed to leave at 3:52 p.m. but didn’t end up departing until just before midnight.

Delta released a statement saying, “Delta flight 2385 with service from JFK to Miami was delayed due to weather in both Miami and New York. Customers were offered both water and snack service while on the tarmac and were also offered the chance to take a bus back to the terminal given the plane was parked on a remote pad for quite some time. We apologize for the inconvenience and the plane has since taken off for Miami.”
