WANTED: Man who raped woman under LIRR bridge in Queens

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a video on Tuesday of a man they say dragged and raped a 22-year-old woman in Jamaica, Queens.

Officials say that on Sunday, August 18, at 2:40 a.m., the suspect dragged victim under the Long Island Railroad train trestle near Tuskegee Airmen Way and 157 Street, then struck her on the head with a hard object and sexually assaulted her.

Authorities say the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim was treated at a nearby hospital for a contusion to the back of the head, police said.

Officials describe the suspect as a male, black, in his 40s, 5'8", heavy set, with a dark colored cap or du-rag on his head. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark colored pants.
