NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The prisoner who escaped from Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents at Kennedy Airport on Tuesday night has been captured.

Mohamadou Lamine Mbacke, 31, was arrested in Chicago while havin coffee at a cafe, sources said.

Mbacke had been described as a 'violent deportee' with a previous arrest on a weapons charge.

An unhandcuffed Mbacke was about to be escorted onto a plane on March 27 when he escaped ICE agents at Gate B23 in Terminal 4 at 8:30 p.m.

Video showed Mbacke fleeing the airport in a taxi.

Agents were under fire for not reporting his escape to the Port Authority for two hours.

Mbacke is expected to make a court appearance in Chicago before being returned to Brooklyn to face charges for the escape.
