NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released surveillance footage on Friday of three suspects wanted for breaking into a mall in Brooklyn and then shattering a kiosk and swiping several watches.

According to officials, the incident occurred around 5 a.m. inside Kings Plaza Mall on Monday.

The video shows the moment the masked man destroys the glass display with a hammer as two other suspects, wearing bandanas take a number of watches.

Authorities say the thieves broke a glass door to gain mall entry and no other store in the mall was robbed or damaged.

The incident has no connection to the looting seen across the city in protests over the death of George Floyd, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
