NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Spotting a rodent in the subway isn't uncommon -- but a snake?

So it comes as no surprise that a man who said he's a train operator was shocked that one of the slippery reptiles was spotted on a subway station platform.

"Being a #TrainOperator for @NYCTSubway I thought I have seen it all but this can’t be real," Canella Gomez tweeted Sunday, along with the video, which he reportedly said had been sent to him.

The video is undated, and all that's known about the station where the snake was spotted is that it's an above-ground station. The snake is believed to be non-venomous snake, so the person standing seemingly oblivious in the background would have been safe.

The MTA said it is investigating, but it said it had not received any reports of a snake at a station, nor had the NYPD.
