NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- No injuries were reported following a partial building collapse in Brooklyn on Tuesday.

Officials closed several streets and urge residents to avoid the area and expect delays.

"Due to a building collapse on Bedford Ave, between North 5th & North 6th Street, please avoid the area if possible and expect delays when traveling through the area due to a heavy @NYPDnews & @FDNY presence at this time," police wrote on Twitter.

Authorities told 1010 WINS that the three-story building located at N 5th and Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg was a mixed commercial and residential building that was vacant at the time of the collapse.
