VIDEO: 3 hurt when SUV crashes into Queens storefront

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Three people were hospitalized after an SUV jumped a sidewalk and crashed into a storefront in Queens on Saturday morning, the FDNY said.

The silver SUV slammed into the store at 173rd Street and Hillside Avenue in Jamaica shortly before 10 a.m., according to the FDNY.

Citizen App video shows debris, including a downed traffic pole, littering the street and sidewalk outside the shop. It appears the impact also knocked down the store's security gate.

Three people were injured in the crash, according to the FDNY. Two people were taken to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, while the third was taken to Jamaica Hospital.

Their conditions weren’t immediately known, the FDNY said.

Authorities haven’t said what may has caused the crash.
