NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 21-year-old man with autism, who was declared missing after leaving Manhattan's Stuyvesant High School Friday morning, has been located and is safe, the NYPD said Saturday.

Police previously said Junior Parker of the Bronx was last seen at the Chambers Street school and "fleeing southbound on the West Side Highway."

NYPD School Safety tweeted that Parker is autistic, adding that he "travels on a yellow school bus and is not travel trained."
