Trump: Missiles ‘Will Be Coming’ After Deadly Chemical Attack In Syria

April 11, 2018 - 8:54 am

WASHINGTON (1010 WINS) -- President Donald Trump has promised a quick decision on how to proceed against the Assad regime in Syria in the wake of another deadly chemical attack.

The president has been presented with several military options which run the full gamut from light to heavy.

One option involves striking the command and control area where Assad runs the Syrian military, another option would target Syria's stores of chemical weapons. It remains unclear when he will decide, but any one of those possibilities and others, remain on the table.

The UN Security Council rejected a Russian proposal to set up a new panel of experts to determine responsibility for the chemical attacks in Syria.

Trump issued a warning on Twitter Wednesday morning, saying missiles 'will be coming.'

He followed that up with a second tweet a short time later.
