Tom Brokaw Accuser Says She Isn’t Suing Or Filing Charges

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The former NBC News correspondent who recently accused former network anchor Tom Brokaw of making unwanted advances, is speaking out.

Linda Vester told George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America that not all abusers are easy to spot.

"Some people might be tempted to believe that all harassers look and act like Harvey Weinstein. It' snot true. Some of them can look like cultural icons like Tom Brokaw, and they can actually be decent during the day to a lot of people, and actually be really kind a lot of the time and yet still have hidden behavior," she said.

In a column in Wednesday's Washington Post, Vester said she's not filing a lawsuit or asking for money. She just wants women to understand that otherwise good men in power can still mistreat women.
