Police: 3 arrested in beating outside Proud Boys rally

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Members of the Alt-right group Proud Boys brawled with protesters near the vandalized Manhattan GOP headquarters on the Upper East Side Friday night.

There were no serious injuries reported by witness described a violent clash in which around 30 members attacked three protesters.

A video of the incident was posted to YouTube and the Proud Boys can be heard cheering the fight on. After the brutal beating, one of the members allegedly screamed, “Are you brave now f----t?”

The fight had broken out on the corner of Third Avenue and East 84th Street at around 8:40 p.m., following a rally at the GOP’s Manhattan clubhouse, which had been vandalized earlier that day.

 Two 20-year-old men were arrested and charged with robbery and assault. Another 35-year-old man was arrested and charged with robbery, assault and resisting arrest.

There were no hospitalizations following the incident.
