Third Body Recovered From Hamptons Plane Crash

June 09, 2018 - 2:43 pm

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A third body has been recovered in the plane crash off the Hamptons last weekend.

That means one is still missing.

The remains of builder Bernard Krupinski and his wife Bonnie were recovered just after their Piper Navajo crashed.

The other two people on board were the couple's 22-year-old grandson, and the 47-year-old pilot.

It's not clear which of the two were found on Friday.

The NTSB and FAA are still investigating and have not discussed a cause, but there were thunderstorms in the area at the time.
