Police: Teens go on hour-long robbery spree in Manhattan, victims include 12-year-old boy

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are looking for a group of teens who robbed five people over the course of an hour in Manhattan on Monday.

The robberies were concentrated around Harlem, and included male victims ranging in age from 12 years old to 21 years old, police said.

The first victim was the 21-year-old, who was targeted near Amsterdam Avenue and East 135th Street at 6 p.m.

Just minutes later, a 17-year-old was robbed of his Apple AirPods after being punched in the face by the suspects, police said.

Five minutes after that, a 12-year-old boy was robbed of his Apple AirPods after the suspects grabbed his shirt as he was walking near Lenox Avenue and East 125th Street.

Then around 7 p.m. the suspects brandished a knife on a 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy near Broadway and East 135th Street, stealing the boys’ AirPods and $20 before taking off.

Police released video of the suspects this weekend.
