NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A group of men are sought after police said they stabbed a teen and robbed his sneakers in Queens last month.

The incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on July 15.

According to officials the 19-year-old victim had arranged to sell a pair of Yeezy sneakers on Snapchat to a buyer named "Kenziedaghost" who was standing in front of 48-06 46th Street in Woodside.

Once the teen arrived to meet the buyer at the agreed-upon location, he was surrounded by seven young men officials said.

According to police, the teen was punched and stabbed him in the back by one of the attackers.

They took $200 from the victim and the Nike Raptors sneakers that he was wearing before fleeing.

EMS transported the victim to Elmhurst Hospital Center in stable condition.

Police said the victim had not arrived with the Yeezy sneakers he was planning to sell so they were not stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
