NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A teacher's aide was arrested Wednesday for bringing a loaded gun to a Rockland County BOCES school.

Police said the aide, 24-year-old Jillian Jeffords of Warwick, brought a loaded 9 mm gun to the Jesse J. Kaplan school in West Nyack for kids with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Police say Jeffords never took the gun out of her purse but a school employee spotted it and reported her.
