Taxi driver robbed at gunpoint outside of Queens casino, suspect sought by NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a video on Thursday of a man wanted in connection to a taxi driver robbed at gunpoint after driving two men to a casino in Queens.

According to officials, the 47-year-old cab driver was dipatched to pick up two men at Resorts World Casino on Rockaway Boulevard in the South Ozone Park section at approximately 3:40 a.m. on Feb 15.

Once arriving to the casino, authorities say the men brandished a black firearm and stole $940 from the victim before fleeing in unknown direction.

Police say the victim did not suffer any injures during the robbery.

A 40-year-old male was arrested at the scene shortly after the incident, officials say.
