UNIONDALE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- The three young people killed in Friday's horrific crash on the Meadowbrook Parkway have been identified.

They include 15-year-old Marlon Carbajal, 13-year-old David Sanchez, and 16-year-old Leo Avilles-Maravilla. All of the teens were from Uniondale. A baby on board was the child of the 15-year-old driver.

1010 WINS Al Jones reports, the SUV had been reported stolen before the crash by Carbajal's father who didn't know his son had taken it.

It was just before noon when drivers on the Meadowbrook spotted the 2005 Chevy Trail Blazer near exit 9.

"Witnesses said traveling in the same direction said the vehicle was driving at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic," State Police Maj. David Candelaria.

He said the 15-year-old driver lost control and a car flipped into a ditch.

There were 10 people inside the vehicle, three teens were ejected and killed.

"Everybody else has non-life threatening injuries at this time, conscious and alert, everybody went to the hospital.
