Suspects wanted in string of violent food delivery robberies in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for several suspects involved in a string of violent robberies that occurred in Brooklyn. 

Police say on Oct. 7, at approximately 8:40 p.m., a 20-year old male food delivery employee entered 1094 New York Avenue where he was was approached by three men who demanded his property and began to punch him in the head and torso causing pain and bruising.

The three suspects removed the victim's food, cell phone and wallet with a total estimated value of $2,000 before fleeing on foot to parts unknown, according to police.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

On Oct. 12, just before 10:30 p.m., a 37-year-old male food delivery employee was approached by four men who demanded his property inside of 2223 Cortelyou Road.

The suspects began to punch him in the head and torso causing pain and bruising and then took the victim's cell phone and wallet with a total estimated value of $1,300, officials say.

They fled on foot to parts unknown, police say.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

On Nov. 3, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police say a 48-year old male food delivery employee entered 85 East 43rd Street when he was approached by three men who demanded his property and began to punch him in the head and torso. 

The three men then removed the victim's cell phone and wallet with a total estimated value of $1,500, police say.

The men fled on foot to parts unknown.

Police say on Nov. 11, just before 11 p.m., a 54-year old male food delivery employee entered 35 Linden Boulevard and was approached by four men who demanded his property.

The suspects began to punch him in the head and torso and took the victim's cell phone and food with a total estimated value of $500, authorities say.

The men fled on foot to parts unknown and the victim refused medical attention at the scene.

On Nov. 19, a 37-year old male food delivery employee entered 100 Linden Boulevard just before 10 p.m., where he was approached by two men.

The suspects demanded his property and began to punch him in the head and torso causing pain and bruising.

The two men took the victim's cell phone and food with a total estimated value of $100, police say.

The suspects fled on foot to parts unknown.

Authorities say that on Nov. 21, at approximately 4:35, a 29-year old male food delivery employee was approached by two men inside of 2708 Cortelyou Road, who demanded his property and began to punch him.

The two men then removed the victim's cell phone and food with a total estimated value of $140 before fleeing on foot to parts unknown.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

Police describe the men wanted in connection to this incident as Black males in their late teens to early 20s. They were last seen wearing all dark clothing.
