NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Cops say an anonymous tip lead them to the man who allegedly went up to a three-year-old boy in a stroller outside a supermarket in Bensonhurst on Monday, and tried to take off with the boy.

Omar Dominguez, 26, of Brooklyn faces charges of kidnapping, attempted kidnapping, petit larceny, and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

The boy's grandmother gave chase and the would-be child snatcher gave up and ran away. Now, there's new surveillance footage of the attempted abduction.

"Oh that's my neighbor from around the corner, that's the most scariest thing for her, I felt bad for her. My heart broke," Daniella Maugeri said.

Maugeri didn't recognize the suspect, but somebody did, and now he's been charged.

Dominguez has several prior arrests, and told cops he was moving the stroller to get it out of the way. He denies it was an abduction attempt.
