Summer-like weather with thunderstorms expected towards evening commute

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- It may be the first day of Fall, but the temperature feels more like Summer. 

Monday will be very warm and humid with the morning sun giving way to clouds.  High of 88.

A shower or thunderstorm around this evening, then clearing and becoming more comfortable later tonight with a low of 66 in the City, upper 50s in some
inland suburbs.

Parts of Jersey and Hudson Valley suburbs can expect a shower or thunderstorm toward the evening commute.

It will not be as warm and less humid Tuesday with partly sunny skies and a bit of a breeze. High of 77.

Wednesday will be a nice, sunny day. High of 78.

Thursday will be warmer with some sunshine and a high of 82.

Temperatures stay warmer than average heading into the upcoming weekend.

Friday will be in the upper 70s, with comfortable humidity.

Warmer and becoming more again for the upcoming weekend with highs in the low to mid 80s Saturday and Sunday.
