FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- A stretch of the Ronkonkoma Branch was briefly suspended Friday morning after a person was struck by a "non-passenger" train, the LIRR said.

Customers were urged to use the Huntington/Port Jefferson or Babylon branches as an alternative.
