Stormy Daniels Files Suit To Invalidate Trump Agreement

WASHINGTON D.C. (1010 WINS) -- Stormy Daniels said she wants to set the record straight about her claims of an affair with President Donald Trump. She's suing to make that happen.

The adult film star has filed a lawsuit to invalidate a nondisclosure agreement which she says isn't binding because Trump never signed it.

Her attorney, Michael Avenatti told The Today Show that the president's personal lawyer Michael Cohen signed the documents on behalf of then-candidate Trump instead.

"In light of the amount of misinformation that's out there, some of which has been disseminated by Mr. Cohen and others, she believes it's important that the public learn the truth about what happened," he said.

Cohen has confirmed that he paid Daniels $130,000.
