WESTTOWN, NY (1010 WINS) -- An elephant that was on the loose in Orange County is back at home on an animal sanctuary.

The 44-year-old elephant was found by New York State Police in Westtown, near the New Jersey border.

The elephant is from Vietnam, where she was burned by napalm, according to a state police Facebook post.
