NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – You’ve probably heard of people paying crazy prices for Super Bowl tickets – but movie tickets?

You better believe it! Someone in New Jersey paid $15,000 for two tickets to “Avengers: Endgame.”

The movie premieres in theaters on April 26, and tickets for the opening weekend just became available for pre-sale this week.

The $15,000 tickets are to an AMC Dine-In theater in West Orange. They were sold on eBay.

They weren't the only pricey "Avengers" tickets being resold on eBay. Four tickets to the AMC Clifton Commons 16 Theater were selling for $6,000. And two tickets to the AMC on 84th Street in Manhattan were selling for $9,200.

1010 WINS reporter Carol D’Auria caught up with Kevin at the Linden Boulevard Multiplex Cinemas Theater in Brooklyn on Saturday.

Kevin says he’s psyched for the new “Avengers” movie just like everyone else is, but he’s not shelling out big money just to say he saw it on opening night.

“I’m sure it’s going to be a great movie, but $15,000? No way,” he said. “I could wait my time. I could wait a week or two weeks after the premiere date.”
