Slasher at large after attacking man in Lower Manhattan

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD seek an attacker who they say slashed a man in the face in Chinatown, Manhattan on Tuesday.

The attack occurred on East Broadway near Market Street just before 10:00 a.m., WABC 7 reports.

Authorities are investigating whether the incident was a random attack.

The victim is in stable condition, police say.

The suspect is described as a bald Hispanic man who's approximately 5-foot-8 and was last wearing dark clothing officials say.
