NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Cops are looking for a man who pulled off 15 burglaries in lower Manhattan since January.

He gained access to residential buildings by ringing lobby doorbells and tenants unwittingly let him in.

The suspect then opened packages left in hallways and removed the contents.

So far, he's taken residents for over $2,500 in stolen merchandise.

Cops are also looking for a suspect in six apartment burglaries in the vicinity of Bowery, Baxter, and Canal Streets between the end of May and last Wednesday. Cops say he's made off with over $30,000 in jewelry and electronics.
