Screaming 7-year-old girl scares off thieves who broke into Bronx apartment

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Five men stormed into a Bronx apartment -- one of them pointing a gun at the 28-year-old female victim and her 7-year-old daughter -- but the would-be robbers scurried away empty-handed after being scared off by the girl's screaming, police said. 

The men forcibly entered entered the apartment, located near East Burnside and Creston Avenues, through the front door. 

Police released surveillance video and photos of the suspects.

The men are described as follows:

Individual #1: male Hispanic, 16 to 20-years-old, light complexion, medium build with short light brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a picture on the front, red shorts with black and white sneakers.

Individual #2: adult male Hispanic, light complexion, bald with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black short sleeve shirt, black pants and black and white sneakers.

Individual #3: male Hispanic, heavy build and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black sneakers, a red baseball cap and camouflage shorts

Individual #4: male Hispanic, light complexion, he was last seen wearing  white compression pants, a blue compression sleeve on his left arm, blue shorts, black sneakers, a grey t-shirt with a picture on the front and a baseball cap.

Individual #5: male Hispanic, medium build, short close cut dark hair, he was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, a white t-shirt, blue pants and black and white sneakers.
