NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Actress Rose McGowan has called on Asia Argento to 'do the right thing.'

In a statement issued through her reps, McGown said Argento risked a lot to stand with the #MeToo movement and she hopes she can find her way to rehabilitation and betterment.

The statement comes after 22-year-old actor Jimmy Bennett claimed that Argento sexually assaulted him when he was 17 in 2013. He said his trauma resurfaced when Argento came out as a victim of sexual assault herself.

Argento denies havng a relationship with Bennett, but it was reported that Argento paid him $380,000 in a settlement.
