NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A pair of cast members from "The Real Housewives of New York" are under fire for transphobic comments they made -- and captured on Instagram Stories -- during a New York Fashion Week show on Tuesday, which included trans model Yasmine Petty.

In a video posted by "RHONY" cast member Dorinda Medley of the runway at the Gara Sparo show, Medley said to fellow cast mate Sonja Morgan of Petty, "Well, with a body like that, it's a guy. That's a guy."

Not missing a beat, Morgan shot back, "Yeah, with a body like that it's a guy, you're absolutely right."

Petty told The New York Post, pointing out that Medley and Morgan were laughing as she walked down the runway, said the Morgan and Medley's comments were "rude and cruel."

"It’s pretty disheartening and disappointing, especially this day in age and being in New York City," she said. "I knew they were filming the ‘Housewives of New York’ and I knew they were front row and literally, as I was walking down the runway, I heard them making these statements."

Morgan and Medley told The New York Post in a statement, "We have a history as long-standing supporters of the LGBTQ community in many ways and apologize for our offensive comments at the fashion show."

Fans took to social media slamming the "RHONY" cast members.

One person wrote on Morgan's Instagram page, "SHAME on you & your transphobic comments!! SO disgusting & SO rude, you should be ashamed of yourself."

Another user tweeted, "I like Sonja and Dorinda, but they deserve to be in hot water for this."

Someone else wrote, "@DorindaMedley how could u say something so disrespectful & petty? I honestly thought u were an ally 2 us all, not just "the gays" u so lovingly claim. This is just further proof that u shouldn't ever meet ppl u look up to...they always disappoint u."
