NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD did a Brooklyn teen a favor, and the teen repaid the kindness by gloating on social media.

The New York Post reports, 17-year-old Diamond Forrest was accused of punching a cop in the face during a confrontation on Tuesday, in East New York. The cop decided not to charge her with assault after she apologized. Forrest was given a summons for disorderly conduct.

After the incident, Forrest reportedly took to Facebook where she described the tussle with a crying emoji.

"I duffed like 3 cops today," she wrote, "I'm glad they let me go."

Her Facebook page also features a photo posted in October that shows her flashing a middle finger alongside a 75th precinct police cruiser.

Sergeants Union head Ed Mullins said he'd never heard of anyone avoiding arrest in an attack on a cop.
