Report: Rapper Tekashi69 arrested on federal racketeering charges

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Rapper Tekashi69 has reportedly been arrested in Manhattan on federal racketeering and firearms charges.

TMZ reports the rapper's recently fired manager and two other former associates were also taken into custody by the NYPD, ATF, and Homeland Security.

Tekashi's birth name is Daniel Hernandez. He's expected to be arraigned in federal court sometime Monday.

Hernandez recently announced on social media that he fired his manager, booking agent, and PR manager.

Tekashi was sentenced to 4 years probation last month for filming a 13-year-old girl in a simulated sex act.

He was also arrested in July for allegedly choking a 16-year-old.

The rapper could face up to 20 years in prison and a $25,000 fine if he's convicted on racketeering charges.
