Ready To Lose An Hour Of Sleep? It's Daylight Saving Time Again

March 10, 2018 - 9:46 am

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Don't forget to turn your clock ahead one hour tonight.

It's Daylight Saving Time, which means it's time to lose an hour of sleep again.

The change will happen at 2 a.m. local time Sunday.

When you change your clocks, please remember to check the batteries in your smoke detectors.

So, in 1966, Congress passed the Uniform Time Act, which mandated six months of standard time and six of daylight saving. Since then, there have been arguments againts the practice.

Many lament the fact of losing an hour's sleep and want to be rid of Daylight Saving altogether. What about you?
