Rapper dies after being shot outside Queens bar

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A local rapper has died after being shot at a Queens bar early Sunday.

The incident happened at around 3 a.m. at Tavern Lounge on Jamaica Avenue in the Woodhaven section of the borough.

Investigators said the victim was idenitified as rapper and promoted Hollywood Play, whose real name is Frank Snyder.

Snyder, 35, was found with bullet wounds to his neck and leg in front of the lounge.

He was transported to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses said there were multiple shots fired but Snyder was the only person hit.

Police are still searching for the shooter and there were no arrests as of Sunday afternoon.
