Rain, fog on its way, then blustery and cold this weekend

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- If you like to see the city blanketed in fog, you're in luck tonight.

Tonight will be cloudy and damp with rain and drizzle on ocassion, with areas of fog forming. 

The low for tonight is 42 degrees.

On Friday, expect some rain and fog, then clouds will break for some sunshine --- but it will be windy. The high will be 55 degrees with temperatures starting to fall later in the day.

Bundle up, Friday night, as sharply colder air will move into the NYC area on a gusty northwest flow. It'll be windy with a low of 27 degrees.

By Saturday morning temperatures will return to below normal levels with morning lows in the upper teens and 20s. Daytime temperatures will mainly be in the lower and middle 30s, with daytime wind chills mainly in the teens. Saturday's high is 34 degrees.

Looking ahead, Sunday will be dry and seasonably cold with a high of 38 degrees. A little snow is possible Sunday night, with a low of 30 degrees.

It will stay seasonably cold early next week, with perhaps a wintry mix later Tuesday.
