Queens rape suspect was accused of sexually assaulting 11-year-old in 2010: cops

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police say a man wanted in the rape of a woman who was followed off a bus in Woodside, Queens on Friday, turned himself in on Monday night with his lawyer at his side.

Matthew Luna, 27, of Long Island City has been charged with rape, stalking, committing a criminal sex act, and assault.

Cops say he asked the woman for directions to the subway, pushed her up against a car, and threatened to kill her.

They say Luna has a previous arrested for allegedly sexually attacking an 11-year-old girl in 2010.
